    Lona L. Cook is currently a staff sonographer for the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Group that is affiliated with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Kansas – Wichita. She received her BSRT in 1988 and graduated from the St. Joseph School of Radiologic Technology, in Wichita, Kansas. She then obtained her RDMS in Obstetrics & Gynecology in 1992 and her RDMS in Abdomen in 1993.

      Michael Crade, M.D.

    Dr. Crade has been a practicing Ultrasonologist / Radiologist for more than 20 years. He was director of the ultrasound department at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center in California for 5 years of that time. He is an active member of AIUM and the American Roentgen Ray Society. He has published more than 55 articles on various ultrasound topics and has lectured at many different venues to technologists, nurses, medical students, residents, fellows and other physicians.

      R. Brooke Jeffrey, MD

    Dr. R. Brooke Jeffrey is currently a Professor of Radiology and is the Chief of Abdominal Imaging at Stanford University School of Medicine. He is active in clinical practice and is a member of various professional organizations, including the American College of Radiology. Dr. Jeffrey is a well-known speaker and he has lectured on many different ultrasound and radiology topics at numerous conferences around the country. He is active in research and has authored several publications in peer-review medical journals.

      Sherri A. Longo, M.D.

    Dr. Sherri Longo is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. She is an active Perinatologist in the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. She has received several teaching awards and has lectured on numerous topics at various conferences. Dr. Longo has also published several articles in peer-review medical journals and has an interest in the area of safety of ultrasound in pregnancy. She has studied the awareness of users (of ultrasound equipment) as to their knowledge base regarding these safety standards.

    Dr.Philip W. Ralls is a Professor of Radiology at Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California.       Susan Riordan, RN, RDMS

    Susan Riordan received her Bachelors degree in nursing in 1979 and has been a full time nurse for 21 years. She has worked in labor and delivery, postpartum, and the newborn nursery. She has been a high-risk obstetrical sonographer for the past 10 years and received her RDMS in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1997. She currently works at Norton Suburban Hospital in Maternal-Fetal Medicine under the direction of Dr. Jonathan Weeks.

    Elizabeth A. Stillwell is currently a Senior Staff sonographer for the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Group that is affiliated with the Department of Obstetric and Gynecology at the University of Kansas - Wichita. She received her RT in 1986 after her training in Garden City, Kansas and she then received her RDMS in Obstetrics & Gynecology in 1990 and in Abdomen in 1991. She has worked with the Perinatal Group since 1992 and has also been Adjunct Faculty instructing OB/GYN ultrasound at Newman University in Wichita, Kansas.

      Junise Swanson, RN

    Junise Swanson received her Bachelors degree from the University of Kentucky in Nursing in 1976. She also conducted further post-graduate studies in biology in 1987 from the University of Louisville. She was a neonatal nurse for 14 years in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the University of Louisville Hospital. For the last 7 years she has been a Perinatal Ultrasonographer at the Maternal Fetal Medicine Center at the University of Louisville Hospital, Norton Healthcare's Reproductive Testing Center, and The Maternal Fetal Medicine Center of the Norton Suburban Hospital.

    Sharlene A. Teefey, M.D. is currently an Associate Professor of Radiology at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis Missouri.     Dr. Towers is currently on a sabbatical writing a series of books that deal with the safety of over-the-counter drugs, herbal medications, and natural remedies used during pregnancy. The first is in print entitled "I'm Pregnant & I Have a Cold - Are Over-the-Counter Drugs Safe to Use?" published by RBC Press, Inc. Before his sabbatical, Dr. Towers was an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, Irvine. He also was the Director of Perinatal Medicine at Long Beach Memorial Women's Hospital in Long Beach California. He has practiced clinically in the states of Kansas, California, and Wisconsin. Dr. Towers has multiple publications in peer review medical journals and he has given lectures on a wide variety of obstetrical topics nationwide.
