Dr. Tamerou Asrat is a Board Certified Obstetrician / Gynecologist and Perinatologist. He currently is the Residency and Medical Student Education Coordinator at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center and is a Clinical Associate Professor in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, Irvine. He is also the Director of Perinatology at Hoag Memorial Hospital, Newport Beach, California. He serves as a peer-review manuscript reviewer for several journals including the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and The Annals of Pharmacotherapy. In addition, he is the Medical Director of Region VIII for the California Diabetes in Pregnancy Program. Dr. Asrat has received numerous teaching awards and has more than 50 publications in various medical journals.

Gerald G. Briggs is a Pharmacist Clinical Specialist in the Perinatal Center of Women's Hospital, Long Beach Memorial Medical Center in Long Beach, California. He is also a Clinical Professor of Pharmacy for the University of California, San Francisco and an Adjunct Associate Clinical Professor of Pharmacy at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. He is the primary author of the textbook entitled Drugs in Pregnancy and Lactation, currently in its 6th Edition, copyright 2001, Lippincott, Williams, and Wilkins, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He also has several publications in peer-review medical journals and has lectured at many institutions across the United States and Canada regarding the use of drugs in pregnancy and lactation.

Dr. Brooke Caldwell has been a dedicated breast radiologist for over 8 years and currently is the director of the Breast Imaging Center at Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center in Fountain Valley, California. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology and has several publications in major Radiology journals. Dr. Caldwell did a fellowship in Women's Imaging and a portion of this time involved one-on-one study with Dr. Lazslo Tabar in Sweden. She is very active clinically and also performs numerous lectures for radiography technologists, nurses, medical students, residents, fellows, and physicians.

Dr. Crade has been a practicing Ultrasonologist / Radiologist for more than 20 years. He was director of the ultrasound department at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center in California for 5 years of that time. He is an active member of AIUM and the American Roentgen Ray Society. He has published more than 55 articles on various ultrasound topics and has lectured at many different venues to technologists, nurses, medical students, residents, fellows and other physicians.

Dr. Diament is an Associate Professor of Radiological Sciences at the University of California, Los Angeles. He is currently the Director of Pediatric Radiology at Harbor UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Diament is Board certified by the American Board of Radiology and has been certified in Pediatric Radiology and Vascular/Interventional Radiology. In the past, for four years, he was the Chairman of the Radiation Safety Committee at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles and for 6 years served on the Publications Committee of the Los Angeles Radiological Society. He currently is a member of the American College of Radiology, the Society of Pediatric Radiology, the American Roentgen Ray Society and the Society for Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology.

Patricia D. Hastings has been a registered nurse involved in clinical practice for more than 25 years. She currently is a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner for Desert Mountain Obstetrics & Gynecology Group. Prior to this, she was the Clinical Director of Obstetrics and Women’s Services at John C. Lincoln-North Mountain Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona and was a Case Manager for Vista Care Hospice. She is a member of AWHONN and is a certified Fetal Heart Monitoring Instructor. She is also a member of the ANA and is participating in the Advanced Practice Chapter of the Arizona Nurses Association. She received her BSN and then her MSN from Wichita State University followed by a postmaster’s Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner Certification from Arizona State University. She has provided several presentations regarding nursing concerns related to Women’ Health Care and has frequently lectured on normal and high-risk obstetrical issues. She has practiced clinically in Kansas, California, and Arizona.

Dr. John Link is an Internist and Oncologist who is the founding medical director of two Breast Care Centers in California - the Long Beach MemorialCare Breast Center in Long Beach, California (ranked by Self Magazine as one of America's ten best breast cancer centers) and the Orange Coast MemorialCare Breast Center in Fountain Valley, California. Dr. Link is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Oncology. He is also a member of the American Society of Breast Disease and American College of Physicians. Dr. Link is an international lecturer / teacher and researcher. He has presented over 40 major courses on breast cancer management since 1988. He is the principal research investigator for the National Cancer Institute approved National Surgical Adjuvant Breast Project (NSABP) and the NSABP Breast Cancer Prevention Trial. He has written numerous scientific papers for peer-review medical journals and has published two books: The Breast Cancer Survival Manual and A Step-by Step Guide for the Woman with Newly Diagnosed Breast Cancer.

Dr. Sheri Longo is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. She is an active Perinatologist in the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. She has received several teaching awards and has lectured on numerous topics at various conferences. Dr. Longo has also published several articles in peer-review medical journals and has an interest in the area of safety of ultrasound in pregnancy. She has studied the awareness of users (of ultrasound equipment) as to their knowledge base regarding these safety standards.

Jodi L. Neuens, RN, BSN is currently a part of the adjunct faculty for Pediatrics at Maricopa Community College District in Arizona and is a resource nurse in Pediatrics, Neonatal ICU, and Pediatric ICU at Desert Samaritan Medical Center in Mesa Arizona, while she is completing her Masters Degree in Nursing (August 2002) through the University of Phoenix, Phoenix Arizona. She obtained her BSN at Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois. Her clinical background includes Neonatal ICU, Level II nursery, and couplet care. She has also taught community child-care classes for John C. Lincoln North Mountain Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. She is a member of the National Honor Society of Nursing and The Academy of Neonatal Nurses.

Dr. Arnold S. Rappoport is a Board Certified Radiologist and is currently an active Interventional Radiologist at Memorial Medical Center in Long Beach, California. He is also an Associate Adjunct Professor for the Department of Radiological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center. Dr. Rappoport is a Fellow of the American Board of Radiology and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiology. He is also a member of the Society for Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology and the Western Angiographic Society. He has published numerous articles in peer-review journals and has presented lectures regarding Interventional Radiology across the country and internationally.

Susan Riordan received her Bachelors degree in nursing in 1979 and has been a full time nurse for 21 years. She has worked in labor and delivery, postpartum, and the newborn nursery. She has been a high-risk obstetrical sonographer for the past 10 years and received her RDMS in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1997. She currently works at Norton Suburban Hospital in Maternal-Fetal Medicine under the direction of Dr. Jonathan Weeks.

Theresa D. Roberts, MHS, RT(R)(MR), graduated from Quinnipiac College with a Master in Health Sciences. She is a Registered Radiologic Technologist specializing in magnetic resonance imaging and is employed as the Imaging Systems Manager at Hollywood Medical Center. She completed her undergraduate studies at New Hampshire College receiving a Bachelors of Science in Human Resources. She then attended South Central Community College receiving her Associates of Science in Radiologic Technology. She has 10 years experience as an educator and prior to her management position, held the position of Assistant Professor of Radiologic Sciences at Quinnipiac College and Miami-Dade Community College.

Colleen Symanski-Sanders, RN, Forensic Nurse Specialist, has been a Registered Nurse for over 18 years. She has extended her education into forensic nursing, criminal profiling, and psychopathy receiving a Certificate as a Forensic Nurse Specialist. She has over 16 years experience in public health and home care nursing. Colleen has been an author of educational material for St. Petersburg College, St. Petersburg, Florida. She has also lectured on a variety of topics at numerous nursing symposiums and conferences across the country. She is on the Editorial Board for "Home Health Aide Digest" and "Private Duty Homecare" publications.

Dr. Towers is a double-boarded physician in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine. He currently practices Perinatology in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and has been active in clinical practice for more than 25 years. In the past, Dr. Towers was an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, Irvine and was also the Director of Perinatal Medicine at Long Beach Memorial Women’s Hospital in Long Beach California. Dr. Towers has more than 70 publications in medical journals and has given lectures on a wide variety of obstetrical and medical topics nationwide. His primary research interests have involved third trimester bleeding, fetal heart rate monitoring, drugs in pregnancy, infections in pregnancy, and fetal pulmonary maturity testing. He has also published a book on the safety of over-the-counter drugs in pregnancy entitled "I’m Pregnant & I Have a Cold – Are Over-the-Counter Drugs Safe to Use?"

Jonathan Weeks, M.D. is a board certified Obstetrician / Gynecologist and Perinatologist. He is currently director of the Maternal Fetal Medicine Center at Norton Suburban Hospital. Dr. Weeks has several publications in peer-review medical journals and has lectured at numerous meetings across the country.
